City of Mulberry, GA - FAQ!

• Mailing Address Changes:

  • No immediate need to update mailing addresses to "Mulberry."

  • The USPS may take months or years to reflect the new city name.

  • Continue using the old address until further USPS updates.

• City Services Starting January 1, 2025:

  • Mulberry will handle planning, zoning, and code enforcement within city limits.

  • Other services (police, fire, schools, parks, etc.) will remain under Gwinnett County’s responsibility.

• Official City Information:

  • A new city webpage with contact details, applications, and permits will be launched soon.

  • For now, updates are available through:

    • Citizens for Mulberry email list.

    • Official Mulberry Facebook and YouTube accounts.

  • Once the city webpage is live, residents can sign up for direct email updates from Mulberry.
